    • Loretta Shelton, Executive Director

      Loretta Shelton, a veteran in nonprofit management and fund development, serves as the Executive Director of Four Seasons Foundation. As a native of Western NC, passion for people and connection to place are part of her core. She treasures having grown up in the rural community of Shelton Laurel in Madison County. Loretta earned her BA in Organizational Communications from Mars Hill College and an MA from Liberty University. She has a Nonprofit Management Certification from Duke University and a master’s level Certification in Project Management from Western Carolina University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a national recognition of her professional achievement and commitment. Before taking her current position as the Executive Director, she served at Mars Hill College and North Carolina State University Foundation. Loretta has a passion for service. After recovering from cancer, she became a hospice volunteer and walked alongside hospice patients in their sacred journeys. These experiences, plus hours of precious time sitting on front porches listening to the life stories of hundreds of people in Western North Carolina, have shaped her understanding of the impact gratitude, generosity, and authenticity have on the human spirit, making her a stronger, more effective leader, community builder, and story teller. Now engaged in the conversation, she finds purpose and joy in her role at Four Seasons by helping support the growing number of chronically ill people who benefit from palliative care and helping the community understand the benefits of hospice care.

  • Tina Bennett Tina Bennett
    • Tina Bennett, Marketing and Events Manager

      Tina is responsible for driving the organization’s strategic stewardship and marketing initiatives, including annual fund communications and management of the organization’s fundraising events. She brings to the Foundation more than 20 years of corporate marketing as well as fundraising experience. This unique combination has given her perspective from both sides of the funding request, affording her a deep understanding of sponsorship value, return on investment and stewardship of marketing dollars. Her event experience includes multi-day corporate conferences, annual fundraising dinners, hi-end golf tournaments and large scale community 5k events. Tina is passionate about her role at Four Seasons sharing stories of how lives are impacted by the compassioniate care that is made possible through donor generosity. She is excited to inspire donors to use their treasure to expand this impact making this care available to all in our region.

  • Kelly Brandon Kelly Brandon
    • Kelly Brandon, Development Director

      Kelly serves as Director of Development as well as Office Manager for Four Seasons Foundation. In her dual role, she assists the Executive Director with creating processes and procedures ensuring the Foundation can maximize fundraising effectiveness and be a model for other hospice providers nationwide. Kelly is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and brings more than 20 years of fundraising experience to the table. Kelly’s passion is simultaneously helping donors find the most joy in the gifts they give and in helping staff and volunteers better understand and implement fundraising best practices.

  • Judy Shank Judy Shank
    • Judy Shank, Donor Relations Associate

      Judy is a native of Illinois, and traveled across the midwest prior to coming to Hendersonville in 2014. She has a background in hospital administration, was a licensed EMT for 12 years and served as a midwife assistant to an Amish community in Wisconsin. Her philanthropic experience started at an Ohio food bank where she served as a donor relations administrator. She has been a first-hand witness to the work of Four Seasons while serving as Administrative Assistant to the staff at Elizabeth House for more than three years. Chosen by her colleagues for her heart for people, especially those who are hurting, Judy was awarded the Four Seasons Compassion Award in 2017.

      In her free time she enjoys quilting, gemstone cutting and jewelry making, and serving at her church with her husband, Jeff on the worship team.

    • Bobby Bennett, Home Store Manager

      A native of Hendersonville, Bobby graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1988 and attended Blue Ridge Community College. He has fond memories of bringing his bike to be worked on at the Western Auto, which was in the building where the Home Store is now located.

      Before becoming manager of the Hospice Home Store in 2016, Bobby was a Store Manager with Walmart/Sam’s Club. He truly enjoys visiting with donors and customers and leading the Home Store team in the sale of donated items so that more patients have access to Four Seasons trusted care.

      Bobby and wife, Patti, are active in their church and have two children, Kaitlyn and Andrew.

    • Sheryl Siegler, Home Store Assistant Manager

      Sheryl was born in Charlotte, NC and moved to Hendersonville in 1968 where she graduated from East Henderson High School in 1977. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob and they are still happily married 42 years later. Armed with a degree in Accounting, Sheryl opened and operated a local full-service florist in 1987 and a few years later opened a Christian bookstore, both in Hendersonville.

      This strong background in retail and a long-standing love for her community has prepared Sheryl for her role at the Hospice Home Store. She connects with people, understands her customer, and aims to serve both visitors to the store and the wonderful donors who make the Home Store possible. Sheryl enjoys serving and worshipping in her church and spending time with her husband and daughter, Liesl.
